Back to overview

At E‑world 2026, Cariqa will showcase how brands can embed EV charging directly into their own products using Cariqa Connect, with embedded charging already live with platforms including Chargeprice and Eco-Movement.

Cariqa Connect enables platforms to offer charging and payments through a single integration

Essen, Germany – February 2026 – At E‑world energy & water 2026, Cariqa, the pricing, billing and payments platform built for electric vehicle (EV) charging, will be present in the Innovation Area, showcasing how brands, platforms and service providers can embed EV charging directly into their own products using Cariqa Connect – with direct charge point operators tariffs.

As EV charging becomes a core feature within vehicles, navigation tools, fleet software and energy platforms, expectations are shifting. Drivers increasingly expect to discover, start and pay for charging within the products they already use, rather than through separate apps or fragmented payment flows.

Until now, enabling charging has often been resource-intensive, requiring complex integrations, costly roaming APIs and additional operational overhead. These models can also introduce higher prices for drivers through energy resale and added margins.

Cariqa Connect is designed to remove this complexity. Through a single integration, platforms can enable EV charging and payments directly within their own user experience, without needing to act as an e-mobility service provider (EMP) or redirect users to external charging platforms.

Embedded charging already live with Chargeprice and Eco-Movement:

Through its integration with Eco-Movement, a leading provider of EV charging station data, Cariqa enables payment links to be embedded directly within Eco-Movement’s data layer. This allows Eco-Movement’s customers to integrate charging and payment functionality directly into their own products, keeping users within their existing interfaces while billing is always based on the charge point operators’ direct prices.

“Eco-Movement’s role is to make high-quality charging data easy to integrate and easy to use. By working with Cariqa, we can enable payments directly within our data layer” said Sjors Martens, Chief Commercial Officer of Eco-Movement. “That means our customers can go from displaying chargers to enabling charging far more quickly, without additional integrations or complexity. It’s a simple change that makes the experience noticeably smoother for drivers.”

Chargeprice, a leading charging price comparison application, also uses Cariqa Connect to allow drivers to start charging sessions directly within the Chargeprice app. Chargeprice does not need to act as an EMP, and charging sessions are billed at the charge point operators’ unaltered prices, without additional roaming margins.

A scalable model for embedded charging:

At E‑world 2026, the Cariqa team will be available to discuss how Cariqa Connect enables brands to embed EV charging directly into their own products while maintaining control over the user experience, customer relationship and brand.

By handling pricing, payment flows and compliance at infrastructure level, Cariqa supports a more scalable and less fragmented approach to EV charging as the market continues to mature.

Meet Cariqa at E‑world energy & water 2026, Innovation Area, Essen.
