E‑world 2025: 980 Exhibitors Showcase the Future of Energy Supply
Europe’s leading trade fair for the energy industry is kicking off with a new record: 980 exhibitors will present their innovations at E‑world energy & water from February 11 to 13, 2025. “That’s an increase of six percent and impressively underscores the significance of the fair as the most important industry platform for the energy sector—especially in economically and politically challenging times,” says Stefanie Hamm, Managing Director of E‑world GmbH.
E‑world is highly regarded as a networking platform. Exhibitors from 34 countries have gathered at E‑world, and the entire exhibition space is fully booked. In Halls 1 to 5, as well as the connecting Galeria, industry professionals can explore the latest products and solutions in energy services, information technology, energy trading, generation, efficiency, supply, mobility, sales, storage, transport, and networks.
Innovations such as the use of artificial intelligence, improved storage technologies, and sector coupling are opening up new possibilities for companies and consumers. The Smart Energy Area in Halls 4 and 5 showcases this potential, where companies from the energy sector, industry, and IT, alongside political stakeholders, demonstrate the significance of intelligent, renewable, and efficient products, solutions, and technologies.
The energy industry is receiving a real push from innovations developed by young companies. Start-ups and entrepreneurs will showcase their ideas in the E‑world Innovation Area in Hall 4. Here, visitors can see how power grids are simulated, how end customers can use energy management apps to control their consumption and save electricity, and how businesses can optimize the operation of their electric vehicle fleets.
A Wide Range of Topics at the Forums
Four forums located directly in the exhibition halls will provide insights into the opportunities and challenges facing the industry. Experts will present information throughout all three trade fair days at the Change Forum (Hall 4), focusing on the economic aspects of the energy transition and security issues. The Future Forum (Hall 5) will cover smart infrastructures and sustainable technologies. The Hydrogen Solutions Forum (Hall 5) will explore the integration of hydrogen as a renewable energy source, while the New Energy Systems Forum (Hall 1) will address the transformation of Europe’s energy systems toward renewables.
E‑world Career Day: Insights for Young Professionals
To shape the energy transition, the industry needs skilled professionals. E‑world supports this effort with Career Day. On February 13, students and young professionals will have the opportunity to gain valuable insights into the energy industry and career opportunities. Around 40 exhibitors will be available for discussions and questions. On the stages of the Change Forum and Future Forum, young talents can look forward to inspiring presentations, panel discussions, and program highlights such as “CEO meets Student.”
Plans for 2026
E‑world’s growing space requirements demonstrate its role as a key driver of the industry. Many exhibition areas have been expanding successfully for years. “To meet this demand, next year’s leading trade fair will open an additional hall. For the first time, companies will have access to Hall 6,” says Sabina Großkreuz, also Managing Director of E‑world GmbH. “This expansion has already generated great interest, and numerous spaces for E‑world 2026 have already been booked.”
