E‑world Community offers online events and information about the trade fair

E‑world Community bietet Onlineveranstaltungen und Infos zur Messe

Whether it’s the structure of the European electricity market, dealing with electricity surpluses, or AI in the energy sector, the E‑world Community offers experts a popular online platform for information and exchange all year round. The digital offering from the organizers of Europe’s leading energy industry trade fair provides valuable insights into current topics that are shaping the industry and thus also the next E‑world, which will take place from February 10 to 12, 2026, at Messe Essen.

“It is important to us to maintain dialogue with the industry and the momentum generated by the trade fair even between in-person events. Our success proves us right: with the E‑world Kick-off, we have established a relevant digital event with an international format,” reports Stefanie Hamm, Managing Director of E‑world GmbH. Her fellow managing director, Sabina Großkreuz, provides an outlook: “One of the next focal points of the digital program will be the use of artificial intelligence. This is changing the industry massively – in the event series ‘AI x Energy: From Potential to Practice,’ experts will show how the possibilities can be implemented in concrete terms.”

Digital event series “AI x Energy” from November 10 to 14

These lunch break sessions, held from 12:00 p.m. to 12:45 p.m., provide practical insights into the potential and areas of application of artificial intelligence:

  • November 10 – AI in the energy sector: Myth, magic, and methodology
  • November 11 – Co-optimization and AI for consumer flexibility – part of the smart energy system of the future
  • November 12 – How municipal utilities are venturing into the world of AI – from the first project to future use cases
  • November 13 – AI-based consumption control: Benefits for industry and utilities
  • November 14 – From regulation to implementation: Mastering the EU AI Act in the energy industry in a practical way

Further webinars in the E‑world Community

The upcoming webinars will focus on other current industry topics:

  • On October 28 (12 noon), the focus will be on the question “Europe’s electricity surpluses: A missed opportunity?” The spotlight will be on the role of thermal energy storage systems, which capture surplus renewable energy, decouple production from demand, and drive forward the decarbonization of industry.
  • “How are political developments affecting the energy sector in Germany?” is the key question on November 24 (2 p.m.). The discussion will focus on the impact of political changes on network operators and energy suppliers.
  • Two practical examples on the topic of “Energy sharing – citizen-oriented and business-friendly” will be presented on December 2 at 10 a.m.
