Exklusive insights for students and young professionals: Career Day at E‑world on February 13, 2025
The future of the energy industry lies in the hands of young talent. But the shortage of skilled workers is also noticeable here. That’s why E‑world energy & water is bringing together young talent and companies at Messe Essen on February 13. During Career Day, students, school pupils and young professionals will have the opportunity to connect directly with companies, explore career paths and make valuable contacts. Companies introduce themselves, provide insights into current developments and highlight prospects. In 2024, over 900 young professionals took advantage of this opportunity – and the trend will continue in 2025.
Participants receive free access to the trade fair on this day. Exciting and energetic topics await them at the Future Forum in Hall 5 and the Change Forum in Hall 4. What job prospects does the fiber optics industry offer? How can I prepare for job interviews professionally? And what does successful leadership look like? All this and much more is on the agenda.
Program of Career Day 2025
Expert talks & panel discussions: Experts from the energy sector will share their in-depth knowledge and discuss the latest trends, challenges and developments. For example, the Offshore Wind Energy Foundation will provide insights into career opportunities and pathways in the construction and operation of massive wind energy installations on land and at sea.
Challenges: Exhibitors will offer interactive games and challenges, providing a hands-on introduction to various career fields. These activities facilitate networking between companies and young professionals while making entry into the energy sector more tangible..
Networking with Young Professionals: Engaging with professionals already working in the industry offers valuable insights and inspiration, helping attendees better plan their own career paths.
Tips for applications from HR managers: HR professionals provide valuable advice and tips for the application process. This enables participants to optimize their application documents and prepare more specifically for job interviews.
Around the Change Forum in Hall 4, participating young professionals can look forward to an inspiring Career Day exhibition area. Representatives from participating companies will be on hand to provide information about career opportunities. In total, around 40 E‑world exhibitors are taking part in Career Day, welcoming students and young professionals both at the dedicated area or at their booths throughout the exhibition halls.
