nexo HEMS-Service – the Secure, Multi-Client Capable Solution – Quick to Use and Easy to Install

The Connectpoint nexo HEMS app connects electricity-generating systems with controllable electricity consumers. The app is suitable for dynamic tariffs, load management and takes over the monitoring, control and optimization of energy consumption. 

The energy turnaround with an increasing number of electricity consumers and generators leads to a heavy load on the grid and the need to control electricity consumption. Control by the grid operator is regulated by §14a EnWG. In view of rising energy prices and inflation, however, the consumer’s desire to save energy has also risen sharply, making it possible to control demand behavior with transparency and prices.

The nexo HEMS app offers valuable support in this situation. It complies with the requirements of §14a EnWG and is suitable for both small businesses and private households. The nexo HEMS app connects and manages various devices from different manufacturers and creates transparency about energy consumption by identifying inefficient devices or behaviors. The data is sent to the app in real time and enables targeted manual or automatic control of multiple locations via the same interface (e.g. office, apartments, etc.). Consumption can be optimized and savings achieved to reduce energy consumption and CO2. A comfort mode with climate sensors and a self-learning model support this.

In households with photovoltaic systems or other renewable energies, nexo-HEMS can be coupled with photovoltaic systems and e-charging stations and optimize the energy flow between generators (e.g. solar system), storage systems (e.g. battery storage) and consumers (e.g. household appliances).

The nexo-HEMS app can be easily integrated with dynamic electricity tariffs. Consumers can use the app to purchase electricity at low prices, for example when charging electric cars when the electricity price is low. By shifting energy consumption to times when there is a large supply of electricity and therefore lower electricity prices, the electricity grid can be relieved.
