Leipzig, February 2026 – As hydrogen infrastructure projects across Europe move from planning into implementation, PRISMA provides market-ready capacity reservation and booking for emerging hydrogen networks. By transferring and adapting proven gas market mechanisms to hydrogen, the platform supports early market participants with transparent, non-discriminatory and operationally ready allocation processes.
With projects such as Energinet’s Danish Hydrogen Backbone entering the market phase, hydrogen capacity booking is no longer a future concept. In January 2026, Energinet initiated the capacity sale for its first large-scale hydrogen transport project, with registration and allocation handled via PRISMA. This marks a concrete step from infrastructure planning to market-based capacity allocation in the hydrogen sector.
