Leipzig, February 2026 – At E‑world energy & water 2026, PRISMA presents its Shipper API and automation features designed to streamline capacity reservation and booking processes. By enabling system-to-system integration, PRISMA supports shippers and traders in reducing manual effort and scaling their booking processes across multiple platform services.
A key use case is the automation of first-come, first-served (FCFS) processes, where speed and reliability are critical. With the Shipper API, users can react immediately to newly arising capacity demand and avoid manual platform interactions during time-sensitive allocation windows.
“With the Shipper API, we help customers move away from manual workflows and integrate PRISMA directly into their trading and operations environments, including their ETRM systems” explains Frederick Webner, Business Development Expert at PRISMA.
The impact of automation is already visible in customer operations. Energy company Uniper implemented the Shipper API to automate its capacity booking processes across Europe.
“Tasks that previously required several people can now be handled much more efficiently through automation,” says Patrick Braun, Senior Capacity Manager at Uniper. “Overall, we’ve reduced the manual workload of these booking processes by around 90%.”
The Shipper API builds on PRISMA’s established platform processes and enables:
- Automated reconciliation – successful bids flow directly into your ETRM tool
- Automated bidding and booking procedures – bid for capacity in auctions or book FCFS capacity directly from your portfolio overview in your systems.
- Market analysis – all publicly available data is available for fully automated processing
Customers can combine API access with PRISMA’s web platform and benefit from structured onboarding and training via PRISMA University.
