Tauberbischofsheim, January 22, 2025 – The Tauber Solar Group will be presenting itself at E‑world 2026 in Essen (February 10–12, Hall 1, Booth 1C 134) as a comprehensive solution provider for the energy transition. With four clearly defined business areas – Utility Scale (US), Commercial & Industrial (C&I), Operation & Maintenance (O&M), and Investments & Co-Investments – the group is sharpening its profile and underlining its role as a reliable partner for sustainable energy projects.
Utility Scale (US) – Tauber Energy
Tauber Energy sets standards in the development and implementation of large-scale solar and storage projects. Following the successful commissioning of BESS Waltershausen (10 MW/22 MWh) in 2025, nine further projects in the medium and high-voltage range are currently in the implementation planning stage. Construction of the next medium-voltage project (15 MW/40 MWh) is scheduled to start in the first quarter of 2026. These plants make a decisive contribution to grid stability and the integration of renewable energies. Parallel to its project business, Tauber Energy is consistently expanding its platform and is open to co-developments and co-investments, while also strengthening its team in the areas of development, construction, and operation.
Commercial & Industrial (C&I) – Tauber-Solar
In the Commercial & Industrial (C&I) division, Tauber-Solar offers tailor-made solutions for commercial and industrial customers throughout Germany. The portfolio ranges from rooftop and ground-mounted systems to integrated systems with battery storage. As a general contractor, Tauber-Solar supports projects from planning to implementation and enables cost-effective self-sufficiency through intelligent concepts. Power purchase agreements (PPAs) complement the offering and create long-term planning security for electricity prices.
With the opening of a new location in Munich in the second quarter of 2026 and the establishment of an additional C&I team, the company is strengthening its presence in southern Germany and expanding this business segment.
Operation & Maintenance (O&M) – Tauber-Solar
With a Germany-wide O&M service, Tauber-Solar ensures the long-term performance of solar and storage systems. The focus is on monitoring, maintenance, and servicing for ground-mounted PV, co-location, and BESS projects.
The acquisition of ENcome’s German business in 2025 significantly expanded the O&M business. For 2026, the focus is on the further digitalization of O&M services and increased activities in repowering and revamping – including EPC solutions for conversions and economic optimizations.
Investments & Co-Investments
In the area of investments and co-investments, the Tauber Solar Group offers flexible investment models for institutional and private partners. Co-investments in selected projects open up access to attractive, sustainable energy investments and support the expansion of renewable energies in Germany and Europe.
Thinking holistically about energy
“We take a holistic approach to energy – from the initial idea to long-term operation. With our four business divisions, we design solutions that are economically viable today while actively shaping the energy supply of tomorrow,” says Arne Weinig, managing partner of Tauber-Solar Holding GmbH, explaining the company’s strategic realignment.
The company’s appearance at Europe’s leading energy industry trade fair in February underscores the Tauber Group’s long-standing position as an established provider of solar PV and storage solutions in Germany.
