Program

As Europe’s largest energy trade fair, E‑world energy & water is the central meeting place for the international energy industry. In addition to conferences, we offer a diverse forum program for the entire industry as well as the Career Day for future specialists in the energy industry. Please find below an overview of the various program areas of E‑world.

Our four expert forums Change, Future, Hydrogen Solutions and New Energy Systems, which are open to our visitors, offer the trade fair audience exciting presentations, Q&As and panel discussions with top-class international speakers. At E‑world 2025, there were different focus topics per forum and per day of the trade fair, which served both as orientation and as a basis for exchange at E‑world energy & water. Our Expert Forums: Overview

New Energy Systems Forum

The program of the New Energy Systems Forum (Hall 5) focuses on the question of how the transformation of future energy markets can be shaped. The focus topic “Trading & Finance” on February 10 highlights financing and marketing models for renewable energies and provides insights into various national markets. The main topic of the second day of the fair, “Future Energy Generation” (February 11), deals with future energy generation and grid integration of renewables. Finally, the main topic of the third day (February 12), “Markets in Transformation”, focuses on trends that are driving the transformation of future energy markets.

Change Forum

On the first day of the fair (February 10), the Change Forum (Hall 4) will focus on “Transforming the Energy Sector”, highlighting startups and their technologies as well as their networking and scaling in a global context. On the second day of the fair (February 11), innovation topics will be in the spotlight under the motto “Powering Innovation”, including robotics and innovative financing models. Finally, the third day of the fair will be dedicated to the Career Day, providing insights into various career profiles in the industry.

Future Forum

The Future Forum (Hall 5) will focus on the past and future development of the energy transition. This includes the focus on “Politics & Regulation” on the first day of the fair, with panel discussions on the burning political issues of the year. The second day of the fair will highlight the optimization of grids in terms of grid stability and the grid utility of storage facilities and renewable energy plants with a focus on “European Electricity Grids”. On the third day of the fair, the focus will be on (regulatory) security measures for a resilient infrastructure under the motto “Resilient Infrastructures”.

Climate Solutions Forum

The Climate Solutions Forum (Hall 6) will focus on technologies and solutions for a climate-neutral energy system over the three days of the fair. On February 10, the future development and use of gas in a global context will be discussed under the motto “European Gas Markets”, including a European gas procurement strategy and the ramp-up of hydrogen. The second day of the fair will be dedicated to the implementation of the heating transition and the transformation of the building sector, highlighting these topics under the umbrella theme “Heating & Buildings”. The Climate Solutions Forum program will be rounded off on the third day of the fair with a program focusing on future technologies that support a climate-neutral system, among other topics.

To the event calender

E‑world Kick-off 2026

The “E‑world Kick-off” digital conference will take place from September 16 to 18, 2025 and marks the start of preparations for the trade fair in February. The focus will be on the European electricity market, the role of natural gas in the energy supply and the question of how municipalities can actively shape the future of energy. You can look forward to intensive discussions and inspiring impulses on central topics of the energy industry.

Energy Leadership Meeting

The day before the trade fair, the Energy Leadership Meeting traditionally takes place in cooperation with Süddeutsche Verlag Veranstaltungen. On February 09, 2026, you will discuss the “Perspectives for the energy world of tomorrow” with the top people in the industry.

Fiber Optics Forum

The Fiber Optics Forum in cooperation with the Federal Association of Broadband Communication Breko and MICUS Strategy Consulting has been an integral part of the first day of the trade fair for years. On February 10, 2026, experts will discuss the new challenges in fiber optic expansion.

Career Day

On the third day of the trade fair, the Career Day brings young professionals and young potentials together with companies from the energy sector and opens up a wide range of career prospects. On February 12, 2026, the trade fair will once again become a networking event for young professionals and will offer companies the opportunity to get into direct contact with potential employees.

Day of Consulates

At the Day of Consulates on February 11, 2026, international representatives like ambassadors, consuls, embassy attachés and employees of chambers of commerce will once again meet on site to strengthen international exchange and to gain insights on current topics of the energy industry. An extensive program will be offered to foster dialogue and networking.
