UNDERGROUND LINE 11

Public transportation takes you within five minutes to the train station “Messe West-Süd/Gruga” which is only a two-minute walk away from the entrance of the exhibition site (“Eingang Messe West”). Tickets for local transport in Essen are available from Ruhrbahn.

Düsseldorf International Airport is only a 20 minutes’ drive from the Essen exhibition grounds. There is a separate information counter for MESSE ESSEN in the middle of the arrivals level of Terminal B. As an inexpensive alternative to the taxi, you can use the Airport Express Bus to reach MESSE ESSEN.

AIRPORT-EXPRESS-BUS

On all three days of the exhibition, a bus service between Dusseldorf Airport and Essen Exhibition Site (MESSE ESSEN) is available to visitors of E‑world energy & water.

The Airport Express Bus leaves from the arrival level in front of the terminal at exit door C, and brings you to MESSE ESSEN in only 20 minutes. This shuttle bus is a direct service leaving every 30 minutes between 7.45 am and 6.45 pm.
