Supercharge empowering energy asset operations

Zurück zur Übersicht

Supercharge offers a new comprehensive platform for energy asset owners, centralizing and integrating asset operation monitoring, simulation, and documentation. This capability supports individual sites or entire networks, enabling them to achieve predictive asset management.

Supercharge offers a new, tailor-made platform for energy asset owners, enabling predictive asset management. Our system centralises the monitoring, simulation, and documentation of asset operations for sites or entire networks. Users receive detailed, live performance insights, access weather-informed simulated outlooks, and have intuitive access to all documentation and maintenance records. The platform uses various modules to address key challenges in energy asset operations and site management.

  • The grid/site digital twin module
  • The live asset monitoring and alert module
  • The simulation module
  • The documentation and maintenance module

The four modules work seamlessly together and empower site operators to get a view on live asset situations, asset performance in the future while providing all relevant asset documentation in an intuitively structured way supported by AI.

But what do the individual modules provide?

The digital twin module offers asset owners an accurate 3D visualization of their site or grid, serving as an intuitive interface for accessing data and documentation. It features a precise visual replica of every asset component, storing key information such as normal operating parameters and protection thresholds for monitoring. This design makes all pertinent asset information easily accessible and navigable, as it mirrors the familiar physical layout of the site for maintenance engineers.

The live asset monitoring and alert module sits on top of the digital twin module and uses its asset base parameters as input. The monitoring module provides a dashboard which shows all relevant asset parameters that are subject to live monitoring including visual in system alert and external alerting functionality such as sms/email. The module ingest live asset data readings such as asset temperatures, voltage information, gas pressure readings, etc, and runs continuous checks of the received data against the set protection settings. In case any breach, nearing breach or noted increase of parameters over time gets detected, alerts get triggered to the asset operator and needed maintenance or repair activities get logged into the automated maintenance planning.

The simulation module complements the live asset monitoring system, sitting logically beneath it. It enhances the system’s capabilities by providing predictive insights into future issues and maintenance requirements. The module can execute continuous, pre-defined simulations across various timeframes, utilizing current live asset data and factoring in relevant weather conditions that may influence operations. Additionally, the system supports ad-hoc simulations that users can initiate by inputting specific parameters.

The system’s final component is the documentation and maintenance module, based on the 3D digital twin. It stores all critical asset documentation, comprehensive maintenance records, and engineer-shared ‚lessons learned.‘ An AI-powered document management system simplifies access, allowing users to ask questions, receive summaries, and get precise document references, eliminating manual PDF sifting. Maintenance engineers use handheld functionality to efficiently document all performed activities, ensuring all information, including comments and photos, remains current.

The new Supercharge system will enable asset operators to react faster to arising issues, cut down information gathering time and pave the way for structured predictive asset maintenance. Leading to fewer outages and more effective, timely interventions.
